How to Join the IMA

The Many Benefits of the IMA Membership

A discounted registration rate for the annual mentoring conference;
Access through the website to over 400 articles published by the IMA since its inception in 1988;
Opportunity to network with other members and experts;
Access to the IMA's electronic discussion network via Yahoo for exploration of mentoring issues or questions;
Opportunity to obtain The Tutor and Mentoring Journal at a 75% discount.

Membership is for one year. The IMA's fiscal year begins January 1 and ends December 31. While memberships are accepted at any time of the year, the earlier in the year you become a member, the more you will get in return. Renewals are sent in late November.

Membership Types

Corporate/Government $275	This is for a coproration or a government agency that chooses to belong to the IMA. This membership may include the names of two individuals rather than simply listing the name of the organization. One person would be the primary member and the second would be the co-representative, although both inviduals would receive the same membership benefits and all mailings and informtion.
Non-Profit Institutional $100	The non-profit institutional membership is like the corporate membership but is geared toward educational and other similar orgizations. This membership allows each institution to name two individuals to receiv membership benefits and information. Like the corporate membership, a second delegate is not required.
Individual $65	This is for persons wishing to be individual members, although they may also work at a for-profit, a not-for-profit, or an educational institution.
Student $40	This is for currently enrolled students. Confirmation of full-time student status must be included with the membership form. (Transcripts [unofficial] and/or a signed letter for the admissions department will be accepted as proof of student status).

The membership fee is insignificant when you consider the value of the quality products, services, advice, and assistance which has been proven effective, and which is available to you in IMA.
