The inaugural publication is scheduled to become available on the IMA web site in spring 2003 as an additional membership benefit.

IMA's Goals for the Mentoring Body of Knowledge

IMA's goals for the MBOK are that:

• IMA members will have easy access to the mentoring knowledge base.
• IMA members will be able to search the data base for key words and, thereby, increase the usefullness of the MBOK for members
• The mentoring knowledge base will be better able to inform and guide IMA members in mentoring practice and progam level decision making.
• The MBOK will help further position the IMA as the premier clearinghouse for mentoring assistance and resources.

The Mentoring Body of Knowledge Task Force

In the spring 1999, IMA Members were asked to nominate themselves, or other individuals involved in mentoring, to serve on the MBOK Task Force. The following members were selected to serve as the MBOK Task Force:

The Mentoring Body of Knowledge Data Base

The MBOK is a benefit of membership in the International Mentoring Association. Therefore, access to the MBOK is limited to members only.
